What is the ASA Way?
Learning to swim is an important part of your child's development and trying to track down safe, trustworthy instruction shouldn't feel like jumping in the deep end. Atlanta Swim Academy is a family-owned business that has been leading the learn-to-swim industry for over 30 years, all thanks to what makes them different – the ASA Way.
1. Safety First
Providing a safe environment, employing safe practices, and safe experiences are the most important things to look for in an instructional swimming program for your child, and the ASA Way ensures all of the above! One of the reasons ASA has helped teach so many over the years is by only accepting the highest quality of standards for their programs.
ASA's Instructors
ASA employees also receive continuous education year-round to ensure that everyone is up to date. Atlanta Swim Academy has aligned with SafeSport, a non-profit organization committed to building sporting communities free of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse and misconduct. Check out the U.S. Center for SafeSport for more information!
ASA's Facility
Along with their exceptionally qualified and trained instructors, the ASA facility is committed to being a clean and safe environment for your children. Their facility has maintained an A+ rating from Cobb County's Health Department for over 30 years, for more information regarding safety policies on Covid-19 at ASA, check out their health and safety precautions online!
2. Program Structure
The way that an instructor approaches and designs programs for your children can play a huge role in setting them up for success. ASA has carefully designed programs for every level of swimmer, from 3 months to 12 years old. Their programs are set up to safely ensure that a student has the ability to preform a skill safely and properly before moving on to the next level.
Swim Lessons
One of the most important things to look for in swim instruction can be the attention to success for your children. ASA offers year-round lessons to encourage kids to maintain their skills during the winter months, which can encourage skill development and retention.
SwimFIT
Building up to competitive swimming and learning proper technique can often be the next step for your child once they have shown the skills needed first. ASA offers SwimFIT sessions for children who are looking for more ways to continue to build upon their skills.
3. Having Fun
With a safe staff and safe environment, the next thing to look for in swim instruction is a fun environment that will encourage your kids to learn and build their confidence. ASA is committed to providing an experience that will stand out among the crowd, safely providing instruction that will ensure your children have a fantastic time.
Camp H20
During the summer, ASA offers weekly camps that provide daily lessons with our certified instructors, along with our fun-filled open swim with toys, games, music, activities and more. ASA instructors will give you and your child skill updates and certificates at the end of every session to encourage fun learning.
