Baby Splash
3-5 months 6:1 ratio | FREE!
Smooth and easy introduction to water safety skills, water acclimation, comfort, and balance in the water. Ideal for parent and child bonding.

Shrimps
6 months - 2.5 years | 4:1 ratio
Swimmers learn through interactive play with parent, teacher, and other swimmers. Parents will also learn how reinforce swimmer development and about water safety.
Required Equipment: Reusable Swim Diapers
Class Goals:

- Comfort Floating on Front and Back
- Holds Breath While Submerged
- Kicking on Front and Back
- Water Exploration
Preschoolers
Reusable Cloth Swim Diapers* are required for all swimmers under 3 years, and any preschool swimmers who are not yet potty-trained.
Goggles are recommended for Barnacles, Seahorses, and Angelfish, and are required for Otters.

Guppies
2-5.6 years 4:1 ratio
Swimmers have fun learning the foundational skills of swimming and practicing water safety.
Guppies establish water acclimation through floating while learning to be safe in and around water. Swimmers spend time exploring the pool while developing water confidence.
Class Goals:

- Supported Roll From Front to Back
- Full Cooperation in Class
Barnacles
2-5.6 years 4:1 ratio
Introduction to fundamental swimming skills for preschoolers. Barnacles must be able to participate in class without parent assistance.
Recommended Equipment: Goggles
Barnacles learn to move through the water independently by using their legs while blowing bubbles, as well as swimming to the wall and climbing out.
Class Goals:
- Independent Back Float
- Independent Kicking on Back and Front for 5 ft
- Learn to Scoop Arms
- Assisted Roll and Float
- Independent Jump
Seahorses
2-5.6 years 4:1 ratio
For swimmers who have completed Barnacles level skills and are ready to swim distances greater than 10 feet.
Recommended Equipment: Goggles
Swimmers increase independence and endurance to swim 20 feet in front with and “scoop” arms, as well as kicking on back.
Class Goals:
- Scoops with Assisted Safety Roll
- Sustained Back Float
- Kicking on Back for 10 ft
- Front Glides into Kicks
- Jump to Assisted Safety Roll
Angelfish
2-5.6 years 4:1 ratio
For swimmers who have completed Seahorse level skills. Swimmers must be able to swim on their front for 20 feet without assistance, float, and kick independently on their back.
Recommended Equipment: Goggles
Swimmers master their freestyle with a safety roll and begin to learn the basics of backstroke as well as learning the basics of treading.
Class Goals:
- Front Kicks with a Kickboard
- Introduction to Backstroke
- Freestyle with Safety Roll 20 ft
- Intro to Treading
- Jump, Roll, Float, Swim Back to Wall
Otters
2-5.6 years 4:1 ratio
Swimmers learn side-breathing, backstroke, and practice drills with and without equipment.
Required Equipment: Goggles
Swimmers learn how to side-breathe while swimming freestyle and continue to build endurance in both freestyle and backstroke, as well as learning elementary backstroke.
Class Goals:
- Back Kicks with a Kickboard
- Backstroke 40 ft
- Freestyle with a Side Breath 40 ft
- Elementary Backstroke
- Jump to Roll, Float, and Swim
School Age
Goggles are recommended for Sea Turtles and Flounders. Fins and goggles are required for levels Triggerfish and higher. Swim caps are recommended for those with longer hair.
Upon graduation of Manta Rays or higher levels, swimmers are eligible for joining SwimFit.
Sea Turtles
5.6-12 years 4:1 ratio
For beginners who have never taken swim lessons before. Ideal swim level for students who have had little to no water experience.
Recommended Equipment: Goggles
Swimmers work on feeling confident and comfortable in the water. Foundational skills such as kicking, floating, freestyle, and a safety roll are the main focus.
Class Goals:
- Safer Entries and Exits
- Kicking on Back 20 ft
- Front Glides into Kicks
- Freestyle with Safety Roll 20 ft
- Jump to Roll, Float, and Swim Back to Wall
Flounders
5.6-12 years 4:1 ratio
For the eager student, ready to jump in and learn proper form for freestyle and backstroke. Elementary backstroke is introduced, along with diving.

Swimmers learn how to side-breathe while swimming freestyle and continue to build endurance in both freestyle and backstroke, as well as learning elementary backstroke.
Class Goals:
- Back Kicks with a Kickboard
- Backstroke 40 ft
- Freestyle with a Side Breath 40 ft
- Elementary Backstroke
- Jump to Roll, Float, and Swim
Triggerfish
5.6-12 years 4:1 ratio
Triggerfish is the next step for swimmers who are ready to learn more technique. Breastroke kick is introduced and swimmers improve technique in Freestyle and Backstroke.
Required Equipment: Fins and Goggles
Swimmers refine backstroke and freestyle with bi-lateral rotary breathing, as well as learning breaststroke kick. Fins are introduced for leg strength, endurance, and improved ankle flexibility.
Class Goals:
- Freestyle with Bi-Lateral Breathing for 20 yds
- Backstroke for 20 yds
- Underwater Glides
- Breaststroke Kick
- Kneeling Dive
Sea Lions
5.6-12 years 4:1 ratio
Swimmers must be able to swim freestyle 60 feet with bi-lateral rotary breathing, 60 feet backstroke with body roll, and have flexed feet with Breaststroke kick.
Required Equipment: Fins and Goggles
Swimmers increase the distance they are swimming and begin learning full breaststroke and dolphin kick. They also begin practicing front flips in the water.
Class Goals:
- Swimming with Fins for 100 yds
- Freestyle Front Flip
- Breaststroke for 10 yds
- Dolphin Kick
- Standing Dive
Manta Rays
5.6-12 years 4:1 ratio
Swimmers must have completed all the mastery skills to graduate from Sea Lions. Swimmers must be able to swim Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Dolphin kick. All skills must be completed without fins.
Required Equipment: Fins and Goggles
Butterfly is introduced while swimmers continue refining backstroke and breaststroke and add flip turns to freestyle. SwimFIT readiness upon graduation.
Class Goals:
- Underwaters with Dolphin Kicks
- Freestyle Flip Turns
- Breaststroke for 25 yds
- Butterfly for 10 yds
- Racing Dives
Dolphins
5.6-12 years 4:1 ratio
Swimmers must have completed all the mastery skills to graduate from Manta Rays. Swimmers must be able to complete 150 feet each of Freestyle and Backstroke, and 75 feet Breaststroke and butterfly. Skills must be achieved without fins.
Required Equipment: Fins and Goggles
Swimmers focus on refining the four competitive strokes, and the correct turns for all strokes, including backstroke flip turns.
Class Goals:
- Backstroke Flip Turns
- Freestyle with Flip Turns for 100 yds
- Breaststroke Pullout w/ Turns for 50 yds
- Butterfly w/ Breakout Swim for 25 yds
- Individual Medley
Reef Sharks
5.6-12 years 4:1 ratio
Swimmers must have completed all the mastery skills to graduate from Dolphins. Students must be able to swim 150 feet each of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
Required Equipment: Fins and Goggles
Swimmers learn how to read sets and pace clocks as well as individual medley transition turns. They also learn safety and rescue skills.
Class Goals:
- Swim for 300 yds
- Individual Medley (IM) Turns
- Racing Starts with Breakouts
- Safer Water Entries
- Rescue Tube Swim and Assist
Pricing
Group Swim Lessons
$35 per class
$140 / month (based on 4 lessons per month)
$40 annual Registration Fee
*Tuition will be adjusted for 5 lesson months and prorated for Holiday closures. Billing is on the 20th day of the month. Billed monthly enrollments will be charged
at the time of registration to the card on file.
