Jenny Kordon | Head Coach
Bio: I can still remember the swim meet that I broke a minute in the 100 free almost 35 years ago. I never dreamed then that I would have the opportunity to be helping young swimmers achieve those same dreams. I come to ASA and the state of Georgia from Minneapolis, MN.
I began swimming at the age of 10 in a small town in Florida and completed my competitive swimming career in the Big Ten at the University of Minnesota. I have experience coaching all ages and levels of swimmers from the 6 year-old first year swimmer, to Big 10 champions and Olympic Trial qualifiers. I have coached at several swim clubs in the Minneapolis area as well as at The University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Macalester College and The University of Minnesota.
For the past 15 years I was the Aquatics Program Director for the City of Brooklyn Park, a suburb of Minneapolis. I am a certified WSI, Lifeguard, Lifeguard Training Instructor and CPO. My family recently relocated to Marietta. My husband, our 2 sons and I are excited to be starting a new chapter here in Georgia.
