Gabby Mazzara | Swim Instructor
Bio: I'm from the small town of Cartersville, GA. My swimming career started when my Grandfather began teaching me at the age of 5. At first, swimming became difficult for me due to my fear of swimming on my back. But over time, swimming started to become my passion.
A year later I was enrolled at my local park for swim lessons. The following summer I started swimming for the Cobias Swim Team in Cartersville. I enjoyed swimming so much that the following 12 years I swam at a competitive level and was the lead backstroker for my age group. I also swam for Woodland High School all four years.
In 2007 I decided to become a lifeguard and obtained my WSI so I could teach my passion to others who wanted to learn how to swim. I have been teaching children water safety ever since and enjoy it everyday. Im a college student at KSU perusing my Art degree and have recently moved to Marietta where I currently work as a WSI instructor at ASA.
